Situated in the heart of Little Italy, Blue Box Butcher was a bespoke butcher shop that blended high quality product with a modern and efficient customer experience. MSDD was responsible for the design of the interior and exterior of the building. The former Grab-and-Go sandwich shop had previously occupied the site for decades and spanned only slightly more than 300 square feet. Creating a space that was exciting and defined the brand while fulfilling health code requirements and accommodating all of the necessary equipment for a butcher shop presented a unique challenge. The result was a vibrant and inviting space that blended warmth and modernity with subtle nods to the modern farmhouse style reflective of traditional butcher shops.
