MSDD was brought into this project to help modernize three existing rental units on the second floor of a mixed-use building on San Diego's iconic Mission Boulevard. The client hoped to make updates that would allow them to increase the unit rental rates and add value to the building. Minimizing the renovation budget was a key component of this project. The redesign was strategic and material selections were made thoughtfully to create spaces that felt fresh yet timeless, and premium yet durable. The end result was successful and allowed the owners to rent the units  at their desired rental rates. The building was eventually sold at profit.
